Nominates teams in all age groups – Non Competitive Under 6 to Under 9
Competitive Under10 to Under 16 and All Age Men and Ladies.
Both Male and Female players welcome in all Junior sides, as in the local competition boys and girls play in teams together only splitting in the All Age Competitions.
All games are played at Marjorie Jackson Sporting Fields Sandford Avenue Lithgow, on a Saturday with games commencing at 8.45am through to 3.00pm the varying age groups spread over the day. The Season usually starts the first Saturday after the Easter School holidays and continues through to the beginning of September.
Musterdays are held on the last Friday in February and the first Friday in March each year at Marjorie Jackson usually starting at 4.00pm this is advertised in the local papers, on Radio and in school newsletters prior to the dates.
Proof of Birth is required by all new Players who have not played in the Lithgow District before.
In 2007 fees were $65.00 Non Competitive, $75.00 Competitive and $135.00 All Age
Workmen’s Junior Soccer offers $10.00 off for the third and additional family member playing. Also a $15.00 per Player Fundraising Levy applies capped at $40.00 per family, no further fundraising is asked over the season once this is paid.
All fees are one off payments for the entire season, no further grounds fees etc apply.
Equipment required – Soccer boots, shinpads. (Shorts $17.00 and Socks $6.00 available from the Soccer Club), The playing strip (shirt) is supplied each week by the Team Manager.
